lcl and fcl shipment

Shipping goods sometimes  can be  tricky little bit, but knowing the two main ways help you alot. At CC,  we trying make it simple for you learn about LCL  and  FCL  shipment. LCL mean Less than Container Load, and FCL is Full Container Load. Which one  you pick depend on what you  need. Lets break it down quick!

LCL  and FCL  are two differents methods  to ship stuff with containers. When you go  with LCL, you share the container together with others  peoples goods. So you dont have to fill whole thing by  yourself. Its good for  small shipments or  if you dont got enough items to stuff a full container. For example, few boxes of  toys only, LCL make sense. You pay  just for the space you use, that can save some money. But it usually take longer time,  because company need collect  items from many customers first before send all together.

What Are the Key Differences Between LCL and FCL Shipment Options?

On other  hand, FCL mean you take whole container all for  you. This better if  you have big amount of things, like furnitures or machines to ship. Say you own store  and got large order electronics, FCL is  smarter. You get entire container so shipping can go faster, direct to  your place without  wait for others. But it cost more, since you  pay full even if not  completely full.

When decide  LCL or FCL for  wholesale  business, first think about volume you shipping. If you  often  send small quantities, LCL probably good option. You  can ship as orders come without wait to fill  whole container. This keep  your stock fresh usually. But if your  orders getting bigger, FCL start  to make more sense.
